Hi, I’m Helen Jackson and I show people how simple it is to live a healthy active lifestyle through a philosophy of 20% exercise, 80% nutrition and 100% mindset. The side effects of living a healthy active lifestyle can be achieving a healthy weight, increasing your energy levels, reducing health risks, and getting more out of your day. What would it mean to you to take back control of how you live your life?
I found a way that worked for me. Sure I achieved a healthy weight but the biggest benefit for me was having an increase in my energy levels and changing my mind set to one that was more solutions focused. I’m just a regular girl from Lower Hutt so if I can do it why can’t you?
There are a number of ways I help people achieve their health & wellness goals. If you like simple to do and easy to implement into your daily life then there are a number of ways that we can work together so check out the How We Can Help You tab to see if any of the options are a fit for you.
We all get results…but are they the results we want? If you know what you want and why you want it it becomes a lot easier to implement the behaviours & activities to move you towards your desires.
We can’t always control what happens to our bodies, but we can definitely control what we put into them and how we move them. I recently heard Dr Libby Weaver suggest this new perspective “I don’t need to lose weight to be healthy, I need to be healthy to lose weight”. That really resonated. So let’s take the focus off weight loss and put more emphasis on really nourishing our bodies on a daily basis.
It makes sense that when we start nourishing our bodies consistently for optimal wellbeing then they naturally move in a direction of wellness results including but not limited to:
Increased energy * Healthy weight * Improved sleep * Improved moods * Feelings of empowerment * Less pain & inflammation * More mobility *
How would results like these benefit your life?
We live by a philosophy of 20% exercise, 80% nutrition, and 100% mindset. All three are important in living a healthy active lifestyle but there are a lot of misconceptions and a lack of self belief that get in the way. People think it’s too hard, too expensive or just don’t really know what to do or how to put their food together to get the results they want. How did I do it?
